The Easter Bunny made his appearance at our house last week, courtesy of Uncle Dave, who ran to Walgreen's for me at the last minute and helped hide the eggs around the back yard. AJ was shocked when he looked out the window and saw the eggs all over the yard. His analysis of the situation was "Easter Bunny here! Dropped his eggs! Pockets! Lost 'em!" The picture AJ's description created in my head was of an Easter Bunny hippity hopping through our yard blissfully enjoying the day and unaware that eggs were spilling out of his pockets. This makes sense in the context of what AJ has been learning lately, because when we are going places and he is still clutching toy screwdrivers in his hands, I tell him to put them in his pockets so that he won't lose them. AJ was even more delighted to discover that the plastic eggs in the yard contained his beloved choc-o-lits.
We enjoyed an Easter weekend visit with my mom and brother who came in to celebrate. My family loves music and playing games, and we spent the weekend listening to CDs and playing Jenga.
