Fairy Caves

We spent a morning playing tourist and went to check out the Fairy Caves near Glenwood. The boys are obsessed with laser tag after discovering it with Uncle John and Johnny in Texas this winter.  This was the only spot we could find in the valley that had it.  

We did the cave tour while we were up there and heard about how people had discovered the caves back when they used candles to explore them.  Not sure I would have volunteered for that task myself.

Family Time

We spent some great time this vacation just hanging out with family.  In Aunt Nicki's case, family also means the chickens. Jumpy, Badger, and the whole crew.  Davey is our chicken whisperer and quickly caught them all.  My kids are already asking when we can get our own chickens.

Powder Pandas

We headed to Colorado for spring break and got the kids back on skis.  Even the moms got on skis this time, too, for the first time together in ten years.   I wish my sis and her family lived down the road, but given the set up we have, I am trying to make more of an effort to get together on a regular basis so that we can make great memories with our kids.  My sister is one of my favorite people in the world, and I want my kids to know her kindness, the way she follows her passions and her hilarious sense of humor.
