We decided it would be a good idea to enroll David, a.k.a. Mr. Dramatic, in a children's theater class. I am so impressed with the activities for kids in Des Moines. This was a joint class between the art center and the playhouse where David spent the first three weeks at the art center making costumes and scenery and the last five or six classes at the playhouse rehearing the play.
The play was an adaptation of the Eric Carl story A House for Hermit Crab. David played the part of the lantern fish, and he was in his element. Safe to say there was no stage fright and a desire to be in the spotlight. I love how these pictures capture his spirit.
