Julia had her 5th birthday party this weekend, a costume tea part at the Botanic Gardens. I love so much about five. It is the pinnacle of early childhood. Their imaginations are still incredible and they can use the bathroom and feed themselves without assistance. What's not to love?

We played many party games, including this one called stack the tea cups. Other games/amusements included musical chairs, pin the tea cup on the saucer and a pinata.
My favorite part of any party...the cake!
