Following Valentine's Day, we had an empty heart-shaped box of chocolates sitting around after we all quickly gobbled up the holiday goodies from Pops and Susan. AJ commandeered this box and told me he was making me a surprise to show me how much he loved me. After much secretive planning and hiding of the thing over two days, he finally decided the glitter glue had dried to his satisfaction and presented it to me as he said "I love you more than anything in the whole world!" What is it about the love from a boy to his mom that is so sweet? It melted my heart, for sure. Something about these pictures captures AJ so well right now. Proud of learning and creating new things, a little bit mischievous and testing of boundaries and still very loving and joyful.
