David is going through a developmental growth spurt in many ways. His preferred mode of getting around these days is definitely upright (not walking yet, but cruising from furniture to people's legs to the kitchen cabinets). He is saying a few words, like key-kah (kitty cat), mama, dada, and (my favorite)...yeah. At first I thought it was just a coincidence that he made a noise that sounded like yeah when someone asked him a question, but he has done it several times in a row now, and when I started paying attention, I realized that AJ says yeah quite a bit, so David may have picked this up from his big brother. But my favorite big boy moment of the last week was when we went out to dinner on Friday evening and David successfully fed himself an entire serving of ice cream using a spoon. It definitely took some time, but he made it through a good half of this dish. Here is some footage...
