We decided it was time to buy AJ a pair of shoes now that he is thinking about walking. When I went with AJ to pick them out, we had three choices: a pair with flames, a pair with a skull and crossbones or a brown pair with blue velro straps. I decided that the brown pair looked most like his dadas shoes, so we went with those. That and it just seemed weird to me to buy a pair of shoes with a skull and crossbones on them for a baby. The pictures above are of AJ and his nanny, K., trying them on for the first time.
