Our little man has hit double digits, as in the big 1-0 months old! The developmental changes are coming fast and furious these days. In the last month, he has learned to sign several words, cruises from one piece of furniture to another, makes new noises when he babbles, and moves when he hears music. He has started to develop goofy little endearing habits, like always pulling off his right sock (but only the right sock), setting food on the counter next to his high chair in an apparent attempt to save it for later, and falling asleep while sucking on his blanket. It's hard to believe that he is closing in on a year, but we got an invitation to one of his friend's first birthday party in the mail today.
As I mentioned, it has been getting harder and harder to get AJ to sit still for a picture, both because he is so mobile now and because he is fascinated with the camera. He starts breathing heavy whenever he sees it and lunges toward it, which makes taking his picture in the rocking chair particularly challenging. You can see above that I wasn't able to get a good shot of him with the phone and pillow for perspective like I was trying to do in past months, but this was the best we could get.
